Born and raised in Northern Virginia, and currently residing in Charleston, South Carolina - Aön Re is a self-taught jewelry artist and designer, who primarily focuses on beaded pieces inspired by religious mythology.

Aön began making and designing unique jewelry pieces at a young age, and recently formalized his craft into a professional business in Hyacinthus Jewelry.

While his work at Hyacinthus Jewelry has thus far been inspired by Ancient Greek Mythology and the modern Hellenic Polytheist religious movement, Aön is currently working expanding his sources of inspiration. In 2026 he is endeavoring to make collections that are inspired by and honor other ancient mythologies, including those found in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Celtic Paganism with focuses on the unique practices found in Ireland and Wales.
