Narcissus is a figure found in Greek mythology, said to be the son of a river-god and a fountain-nymph who lived in the town of Thespiai in Boeotia. He is best known for the myth in which he fell in love with his own reflection and was transformed into a narcissus flower by the nymphs.

Inspired by Narcissus tragic tale and association with nature, this piece is constructed using faux pearls made of white shell.
